Daffodils -

Bright Yellow & White

Outside & In.

I am enjoying a long season with my daffodils and lucky for me a few later varieties are still in bud!

The March rain has been hard on the daffodils - knocking them down - so I get to pick the fallen beauties and enjoy indoors!

Inspired by my artist friend Christy I decided to create artwork for my blog - hopefully this will become regular feature! Thank you Christy.

This white beauty is Narcissus Thalia or a Triandrus Daffodil

Brightness on a Gray, Rainy and Cold day

Rainy days

... are great for planning what's next in the garden and organizing my photos for future posts.
Some of my plans include shrub pruning in the front yard and planting vegetables in my early spring garden.

Oh Puddles!

More rain for a few days and then could that big yellow orb appear again?

Finding a little brightness in the blooms both indoors and out

The Star Magnolia kept exploding with more blooms all week. (Magnolia stellata)

Hellebores and Shamrocks

Hellebores from neighbor Mary's Garden

On Thursday Mary hosted the Eastside Garden Club for lunch & presentation on installing our own outdoor lighting. Along with a wonderful bowl of lentil soup to eat we were treated to these magnificent bowls filled with Hellebore blossoms.

My friend Leann arrived on Thursday evening with this cute little Shamrock plant!

It is so lively and festive.

My reblooming Orchid and the Shamrock!
